This piece aired in 2013 on Channel 11 here in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, and I get emotional watching.
Sgt. Major Blatnik died last Saturday morning at the age of 100. He was from Rowlett, just outside Eastern Dallas.
God rest his soul!
